EFFLUENT  TREATMENT PLANT

Effluent treatment plant cleans industrial effluents, contaminated water from rivers and lakes, and so on just in order to reuse the water for additional purposes. Such treatment plant ensures that the contaminated and polluted
water from industries get treated and become reusable before being released back to nature. Without this treatment, it won’t be possible for humans to get clean usable water for household chores.

ETPs remove any unsafe chemical from water in order to treat it and make it ready for reuse. So when this treated water will enter the ground, it will leave no negative effect on the planet. ETPs are bliss for the industry owners. Effluent Treatment Process are Tailor Made Systems as depends on the source of effluent, Effluent Characteristic, Treated Effluent discharge / reuse quality and Zero Liquid Discharge system and its have the following section .

Anoxic System
   Trickling Filter

In order for denitrification to occur, anoxic conditions must exist. Anoxic conditions are deficient in dissolved molecular oxygen but it can contain chemically-bound oxygen as found in nitrate

The dissimilation process of breaking down the nitrate molecule to make it chemically-bound oxygen requires both an electron donor and an electron acceptor. Nitrate gains (accepts) electrons and is reduced
to nitrogen gas and a carbon source loses (donates) electrons and is oxidized to carbon dioxide
The anoxic conditions simply ensure that nitrate will serve as an “electron acceptor” in the dissimilation
process instead of oxygen

In pre-anoxic basin influent wastewater, return sludge from the clarifier, and nitrate-rich mixed liquor
pumped from the effluent end of the aeration tanks are mixed together
