Iron Removal Units
Most varieties of underground water contains Iron and Manganese Impurities, which render them as unfit for Domestic and Industrial usage as even the Total Dissolved Solids are low. So the elimination of these impurities from underground water is becoming a major issue. Iron Removal Units is the best solution for this problem.
Water with Iron Content has the following disadvantages
The Water Turns yellowish or orange or reddish or brown colour and stains the cloths, floor, walls, Utensils and other accessories which it comes in contact with.
It causes Pipelines and fittings to forms its sludge and slowly corrodes.
It Induce scaling and bacterial growth.
When its impurities exceed the permissible limits ( < 0.3 ppm), this water is not suitable for direct use.

It requires the Following Treatment
Oxidize the Iron Content water with natural draft aeration / forced aeration / chemical treatment to convert the most of the Ferrous State (Dissolved or soluble state) to Ferric state (Un-dissolved state). Settle and remove the Un-dissolved state Ferric and Less Iron Content water to Filter Feed Compartment Pump the Less Iron Content Water to Iron Removal Filter to get the Iron Free Output quality.

Softeners
Calcium and Magnesium are the main element which cause both temporary and permanent hardness in water.
It is called as Hard water Soap does not lather in hard water.
Hardness causes pipelines and fittings to corrode.
It induces scaling and bacterial growth in process equipment's When its impurities exceed the permissible limits ( < 150 ppm), the water is not potable.
Softening is an adsorption process, which removes calcium and Magnesium from water by passing through softener resin and collect equal amount of sodium from the softener resin with little effect in pH, Alkalinity and conductivity in water.
Sodium Salt is use to regenerate the softener resin as the softener resin gets exhaust for further exchange.

Degree of Hardness
Water Range Hardness in ppm as CaCO3
Low Pressure Boiler use < 20
Soft Water < 75
Moderate Hardness 75 to 150
Soft water limit for general purpose < 300
Hard Water >300

Demineralization Plants
Demineralization by Ion Exchange Technology is one of the most conventional preferred and widely used water purification method on industrial sectors. As the name suggests demineralization is the process to remove all the dissolved minerals or ions. These Ions are either positively charged CATION or Negatively charged ANIONS. Thus the process is also called as de-ionization.
The media Used in Demineralization is known as Ion Exchange resins, which is a co-polymer beads containing labels as CATION RESINS and ANION RESINS capable of reversible and stoichiometrical exchange with ions of the same charge present in the water and with which they are coming in contact.
These Ion Exchange Resins can be regenerated using regenerants like HCl / NaOH, to gain their respective charge to perform the next cycle to produce demineralized water commonly known as DM Water
Available in FRP / MSRL / MS with internal surface FRP Lining Vessels
Multiport Valves are provided as option for easy operation

De-Alkalination Unit
The de-alkalization of water refers to the removal of alkalinity ions from water. Chloride cycle anion ion exchange dealkalizers remove alkalinity from water. Chloride cycle dealkalizers operate similar to sodium cycle cation water softeners.
Dealkalization by anion exchange resins is accomplished by the exchange of chloride for bicarbonate and carbonate alkalinity, thus the finished water is enriched with chlorides. Exhausted resin is regenerated with sodium chloride, much like a water softener. Although any strong base anion resin can be used.
Available in FRP / MSRL / MS with internal surface FRP Lining Vessels.
Multiport Valves are provided as option for easy operation.
Reverse Osmosis Unit
Water is the essential component for the living being. According to the people life and Industrial Level been improved and developed, the demand for purified water has been increasing more and more.
The underground water is now growing as another source and this result in as available water from surface and underground sources are having higher salt content due to development in Population and Industries.
These Water having Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) more than the WHO permissible limits of 500 ppm. Hence People are Behind the Pure Water. Hence Reverse Osmosis Systems removes Total Dissolved Solids in economical means and becomes most familiar in the Water Treatment Industry.

What is Osmosis :- When a solution of a higher concentration (solute) is separate from a solution of lower concentration (solvent) by a semipermeable membrane, the ionic pressure in the low concentration solution’s side will be higher than on the high concentration side. As a result, the pure solution will penetrate through the membrane from the low concentration (higher head) to the High Concentration (lower head). This process is known as Osmosis.
What is Osmotic Pressure :- When the pressure is applied on the high concentration side, to retain the permeability of the pure solution from low concentration side, in such a way that the applied pressure is equal to that of the overcoming ionic pressure in the low concentration side. It is called as Osmotic Pressure.
What is Reverse Osmosis :- When the external pressure, which is applied on the high concentration side, is higher than the osmotic pressure of the system, then the pure solution will pass from the high concentration side to the low concentration side through the semipermeable membrane. This process is known as Reverse Osmosis.

Features in Reverse Osmosis process
Reverse Osmosis is a purifying process involving Membrane Separation.
The Membrane is a TFC (Thin Film Composite) Made of Polyamides. The membrane pore size lies in the range of 0.0001 microns.
Reverse Osmosis rejects around 97% to 99% of the salt, and water coming through the semipermeable membrane is also free from bacteria, viruses and other pathogens.
The percentage of Pure water Recovery is mainly depends on the Raw Water Quality.
Reverse Osmosis process converts Brackish / Sea Water to pure potable water.
Reverse Osmosis used For Boiler Feed Water Treatment, Cooling water treatment, Ultra Pure water quality treatment, Zero Water Discharge on water recovery etc,
The R O Treatment Plant is considered as the most economical solution for the water treatment process in any commercial or industrial establishment.
Separating the contaminants and non essential and corrosive salts, metals, chemicals etc from the water, the treatment plant is engineered using hi-tech technology.
The RO plant manufactured by us ensures to give a high quality output of TDS in the water.
Ultra Filtration Unit (UF Units)
Ultra filtration (UF) is a pressure-driven barrier to suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, endotoxins and other pathogens to produce water with very high purity and low silt density. Ultra filtration (UF) is a variety of membrane filtration in which hydro static pressure forces a liquid against a semi permeable membrane.
Ultra filtration membrane filtration (UF) is a low pressure membrane process for water treatment that is designed to remove turbidity causing particles including those comprised of suspended solids, bacteria, colloidal matter and proteins.
There are two main types of Ultra filtration systems.
Point-of-use: These are typically used for under-the-counter drinking water systems.
Point-of-entry: These are typically used to run water for applications that do not require water filtered as fine.

Mineral Water Plant
As people become more health conscious, the demand for bottled water is increasing at a rapid rate. Bottled water
provides easy trans portability and assured water quality.
With our several years of experience in the Water Treatment Field, we have developed comprehensive, economically viable packages, such that the capital outlay is optimized. Our packages are offered in modules so that they can be upgraded at a later date as the demand increases.
The major impurities of waters can be classified in three main groups:
Non-ionic & Un-dissolved physical impurities. [Turbidity, Odour, Colour etc]
Ionic and dissolved impurities [Ca, Mg, Na, So4, Cl, iron etc]
Microbiological impurities [ Bacteria, Virus, Pathogens etc]
There are various processes employed to purify the water and various combinations of the processes are incorporated to ensure that final composition of the product confirms to the most stringent norms.
Typically a Mineral water Plant may consist of:
Water Treatment Plant
Packaging Plant
The Water Treatment Plant consists of One or All of the below mentioned process:
Chlorine/Hypochlorite Dosing System as Pre treatment:
Chlorine/Hypochlorite dosing system is done in the raw water for disinfection / oxidation of iron and manganese (if present) in the water before filtration. About 3-4 ppm of sodium hypo chlorite solution is dosed in raw water storage tank, which reacts with water to form hypo chlorite acids which acts as disinfecting agent. A LDPE chemical preparation tank with an electronic diaphragm type dosing pump is provided for this.
Raw Water Storage Tank:
Raw water, after chlorination is required to be stored to achieve a detention time as per process
Pressure Sand Filter
Activated Carbon Filter
Anti Scalant Dosing System:
The hardness salts of calcium & magnesium are likely to be precipitated if concentration exceeds its solubility limit & it may scale the membranes resulting in poor treated water quality from RO System. To prevent this Antiscalant dosing (scale inhibitor) system is provided. The dosage rate is 4-5 ppm. A LDPE chemical preparation tank with an electronic diaphragm type dosing pump is provided for this.
Micron Filters:
Micron Filtration is achieved by a series of filtration with the 20/10 Micron, 5 Micron, and 1 Micron Cartridge
Filters. This is a Consumable item and should replaced periodically
Reverse Osmosis System
Ultra Violet Sterilizer
OZONE GENERATOR:
Though RO System rejects all the micro – organisms like bacteria & virus; it may redevelop in packed bottles over a period of time. Hence, it is necessary to disinfect RO Product water prior to bottling. In the Ozone Generator, Ozone is formed by energetic excitation of molecular oxygen, causing some of it to disassociate into oxygen atoms, which can recombine with oxygen. The most practical way to do this in an ozone generator is via a method called "silent-arc" or "corona" or "brush" discharge. The discharge occurs when charged electrons flow through a gas containing oxygen.
Ozone is used in water treatment for its oxidative qualities. Ozone oxidizes both organic and inorganic substances; removes unwanted taste, odor and color; and provide effective disinfection. Ozone is extremely efficient as a bactericide, fungicide and virucide, killing even chlorine-resistant Cryptosporidium. Another benefit is that ozone does not lead to the formation of trihalomethanes (THMs), which are formed when chlorine is added to raw water containing humic materials. Once a THM is formed, it is difficult to oxidize, even with ozone.
Ozone Contact/ Recirculating Tank:
By industry standards, tall-tower diffusion is the most widely used contacting method. It introduces the ozone into the bottom of a column of water, or contact tank. The incoming (raw) water enters the top of the contact tank and leaves by the bottom.
The gas is mixed in the incoming water by Venturi injection process, which uses an ejector where the Water is channeled through a short tube with a constriction in the middle which causes an increase in the velocity of the
water flow and a corresponding decrease in the fluid pressure. The resulting suction draws ozone into the flow
stream.
UV System:
Ultra Violet Light Radiation Treatment Systems is adapted to disinfect and keep the water clean and free from bacteria and virus at the entry of Bottle Filling Machine.
The Packaging unit consists of One or All oft the below mentioned process:
Bottle Manufacturing by PET Blowing Machine: For manufacturing of PET Bottles for Different sizes and available in Semi and Automatic Operation up to 3600 Bottles per hour.
Rinsing - Filling – Capping – Sealing Machine: The bottles are fed into the machine which automatically rinses, fills and screws the cap on it. Caps are stamped with the date of manufacture and expiry before being put into the hopper for screwing on to the bottle.
Labeling: In this section the labels and the neck sleeve are to be manually put on the bottles which will then pass through the shrink tunnels and onto packing conveyer.
Final Packing: This could be in cartons - done manually - and no machines have been provided for it.
These Packing Machines come in both versions: Fully Automatic as well as Semi Automatic.
Fully Automatic Machines are with in feed Air Conveyor which gives higher production rate with no change parts for different sizes of bottles. Such machines are Mechanical operated with Cam Drive and pneumatic operation for accuracy of Washing and Filling.
Semi Automatic Machines are with Manual washing with Turn Tables and rest activity of Filling and Capping are fully automatic operation. Both options have Shrink Tunnel for labeling application.

Contaminated water contains particles of different sizes which can be classified as dissolved (< 0.08 μm), colloidal
(0.08 - 1 μm), super colloidal (> 100 - 100 mm) and settle able (> 100 μm) (1 and 2).
The type of treatment selected depends on the size of particles present in the wastewater. In practice, treatment efficiency also depends on particle size.
Solids of the size that are visible to the naked eye can be separated either by settling under the influence of gravity or by flotation, depending on the relative densities of solids and water. They may also be easily separated by filtration. However, very fine particles of a colloidal nature (called colloids, size < 1 μm) which have high stability are significant pollutants. The reason for this stability is that these particles have electrostatic surface charges of the same sign (usually negative). This means that repulsive forces are created between them, preventing their aggregation and subsequent settling. It has therefore proved impossible to separate them by settling or flotation. It is not possible to separate these solids by filtration because they pass through any filter. However, separation by physico-chemical treatments is possible.
Physico-chemical treatment of wastewater focuses primarily on the separation of colloidal particles. This is achieved through the addition of chemicals (called coagulants and flocculants). These change the physical state of the colloids allowing them to remain in an indefinitely stable form and therefore form into particles or flocs with settling properties.
Chemical Treatment Process are Coagulation (or Rapid Mixing process) and Flocculation (or slow Mixing process)
